In the last article you pulled five institutional key levels off the free QQQ options chain: two call walls, two put walls, and the flip. If you skipped it, start there: how to find key levels yourself using QQQ.
Those are QQQ prices. You trade NQ. Here is the conversion, and then the part that actually matters: what to do when price gets there.
NQ and QQQ track the same index, so they move together at a nearly constant ratio. You do not need to memorize it, because it drifts a little over time. You compute it fresh each morning in five seconds:
Ratio = current NQ price ÷ current QQQ price
Example: NQ trading at 23,450 and QQQ at 571.90 gives a ratio of about 41.0. Now convert every level:
NQ level = QQQ strike × ratio
A QQQ call wall at 575 becomes roughly 575 × 41.0 = 23,575 on NQ. Do that for all five numbers and you have an NQ ladder built from real institutional positioning.
Round to the nearest 5 or 10 points. These are zones, not laser lines. Expect reactions in a band of about 10 to 20 NQ points around each level.

Open your NQ chart on TradingView, drop a horizontal ray at each converted level, and label them: CW2, CW1, FLIP, PW1, PW2. Color the call walls red, the put walls green, the flip gold. Thirty seconds of chart work, and your chart now shows what the algorithms are watching.

Your stop goes on the other side of the zone, which usually means 15 to 30 NQ points. Size the position from the stop, not from feel: our position sizing guide and the note on NQ vs MNQ cover it. If the stop is too wide for your risk on NQ, the same trade on MNQ at one tenth the size is the right call, not a downgrade.
Now you know the entire method: pull the strikes, compute the ratio, convert, mark, wait for the reaction. It is real work, and it is worth doing by hand until the levels feel like home.
It is also exactly what STS automates every morning. Our engine reads the actual options flow, weighs it properly instead of eyeballing open interest, converts everything to NQ prices, and posts the finished ladder in the free STS community before the bell. Members get the levels drawn straight onto TradingView automatically with one copied string.
Learn the craft here. Keep the convenience there. Both are free.
Reading about levels is one thing. Watching them trade in real time is another. STS4x members get the full daily key levels for NQ, ES, and GC, plus live trading sessions every weekday at 9:30 AM ET where the systems run out loud.
